KUTING Participates in 2010 Parañaque Arts Festival

KUTING participated in the first ever Parañaque Arts Festival held last April 7-11, 2010. KUTING members conducted workshops on children’s literature during the five-day festival. These workshops were organized by the Parañaque government with support from the World Health Organization (WHO).

The festival was titled “Hataw Health” and focused on themes such as healthy living and the creation of a healthy environment. The arts festival was Parañaque City’s way of celebrating the “Healthy City” distinction which was awarded to them by the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as its way of promoting a healthy community.
